Step 6: A screen will appear asking, Are you sure you want to reset to factory default? Click the yes button to continue.
Step 7: Your range extender will reboot with default settings after which you will be prompted to enter a new wifi name.

Step 8: Make sure the Wi-Fi signal is still active after the Wi-Fi booster device has been factory reset.

Hard reset - Factory Reset TP Link Extender

TP Link extender hard reset is usually performed when you forget the login credentials for your extender. The login credentials include the IP address, username, and password. The extender has to be physically near you in order to perform Reset TP Link extender.
